About the Role
PEOPLE HUNT is hiring on behalf of our client, an innovative technology company based in Riga, specializing in drone technologies and advanced defense systems.
We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join the production and engineering team. In this role, you will assemble, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and components used in cutting-edge unmanned technologies. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the highest quality standards throughout the production process.
Please note: Due to the nature of our client's work, successful candidates must pass a Ministry of Defense (MoD) background and security screening.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and install electromechanical components and systems according to technical documentation
Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, soldering, and mechanical assembly
Conduct functional testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
Identify and resolve faults using appropriate testing equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
Collaborate with engineering teams during prototype development and product improvements
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards
Maintain accurate assembly and testing documentation
Required Qualifications
Technical education in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Previous experience in electromechanical assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
Experience using electrical measuring instruments and hand tools
Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and technical English
Bonus Skills
Experience with drones, robotics, or aerospace systems
Knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly
Experience with soldering and cable harness assembly
Familiarity with production testing procedures
Understanding of quality management systems
